Dedicated to the memory of Ray Hannam
Sadly on Monday 13th April 2020, Ray passed away in his sleep at hospital. Having fought a long, brave and determined battle against Parkinson's disease unfortunately Covid -19 was too much for him. Ray was a loving Husband, respected Father and proud Grandfather and will be greatly missed. His dedicated Parkinson's nurse helped both him and Margaret through the tougher times and it was Ray's wish that he leant his support to this great cause.

As well as paying tribute to Ray who managed Parkinson's with resilience and stoicism I would also like to pay tribute to my sister Margaret who shared 23 happy years with Ray, 19 as his wife. In latter years she also became Ray's care and was unstinting in her care and love for Ray, enabling him to remain in their home until his final admission to hospital. She is missing him terribly and of course only time will enable her to manage and cope with her loss. Such sadness at such difficult times.
